Hi, I'm Charan Raj Kandula, the creator and solo developer of BibleWrite.

I grew up in Ligallapalli, a small village in Bhadrachalam, Andhra Pradesh. Coming from a Christian family, I loved Jesus from childhood, but because I spent so much of my early life away from home in boarding schools, I only knew about God. I didn't truly know Him yet. For a long time, even back during my bachelor's degree, I wanted to build something for the Christian community. I started a project back then, but I was never able to finish it.

In 2020, two major things happened: I finished my Bachelor's in Computer Science at MGIT in Hyderabad, and I lost my father. That loss hit me incredibly hard. My connection with God struggled, but I kept seeking Him. Whenever I thought about how we lost my father, I realized the only reason I was still standing was because of Jesus Christ—holding me, guiding me, and telling me what to do in life.

I planned to come to the USA for my master's. I prepared, I prayed, and God answered. In 2022, He brought me to Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey. The transition was tough. Adapting to the lifestyle in the US brought challenges and hardships, but I kept praying. A good friend of mine helped me build a much stronger connection with God. I grew up Catholic and never had a problem going to any church, so when my friend invited me to his non-denominational church, I went just to keep him company.

Slowly, everything changed. I decided to get baptized at Hoboken Grace Church. My friend, another friend, and I started doing daily Bible studies online. We always planned to read for just one hour, but the discussions and prayers were so deep that we would easily go for three hours. We started with the Book of Acts as our first full-fledged study. I learned more and more about God, and I became hungry for His Word all the time. Every word, prayer, and worship song encouraged me to keep moving forward.

But during those online Bible studies, I kept getting frustrated. The digital Bibles we were reading were filled with irrelevant ads that completely disrupted the experience. So, in 2022, I decided to finally build that project I had dreamed of years ago. I tried so many versions, different ideas, and approaches. Nothing worked at first. But I kept learning. Slowly, I taught myself full-stack development—connecting the frontend to the backend and learning how to handle large media files.

For the past year and a half, the development has been much more aggressive. AI helped fast-forward my vision, but the foundation was built on years of research, structuring, and planning. I put everything I learned into this project. There have been countless sleepless nights. I still don't have a job, and most of my time goes entirely into this app development, but I knew I had to do this.

Finally, it shaped into the product I always envisioned—something useful for everyone: kids, adults, and seniors. A completely distraction-free, ad-free Bible application with no subscription required. We live in a modern world, and the Word of God needs to reach everyone with modern tools.

Today, I am still in the USA, studying for my second Master's in CS at Saint Francis College in Brooklyn, NY, and actively looking for software engineering career opportunities. But BibleWrite is my first true work toward God's kingdom. I believe Jesus Christ is my God and Savior, and I will continue to live in the house of the Lord forever. I'm currently attending IJC (Imitators of Jesus Christ) church in NJ, and they have helped me grow so much spiritually, teaching me God's word every day.

"God led me to develop this. I am so thankful to Him, and to the family, friends, and community who have stood by me, helping me refine this application."
