🚀 Getting Started

Creating an Account: Click "Sign Up" on the top right. Enter a username and password (minimum 6 characters), confirm your password, and click "Create Account".
Logging In: Click "Login" on the top right. Enter your username and password, then click "Sign In".
Navigation: Use the links in the header to access the Bible Reader, Daily Devotional, your personal Notes, and shared Public Notes.

Changing Version/Book/Chapter: Use the dropdown menus at the top of the reader page or type a reference like "John 3" into the "Quick Jump" box and click "Go".
Highlighting: Select text within a verse. A small menu will pop up. Click one of the colored circles (yellow, green, blue) to apply the highlight.
Adding Verse Notes: Select text within a verse, click the pencil icon (✏️) in the pop-up menu, write your note in the modal that appears, and click "Save Note".
AI Summary: Select text within a verse and click the sparkles icon (✨) in the pop-up menu. An AI-generated summary will be created and saved as a note attached to that verse.
Clearing Highlights: Select the highlighted text again and click the trash can icon (🗑️) in the pop-up menu.
Viewing Chapter Notes: Notes and highlights specific to the chapter you're reading appear in the sidebar on the right. Click a note in the sidebar to edit or view it.

Creating General Notes: Go to the "My Notes" page and click the "+ Create Note" button.
Editing Notes/Highlights: On the "My Notes" page, find the note card and click the options menu (⋮), then select "Edit". You can also edit notes/highlights by clicking them in the reader sidebar.
Deleting Notes: Click the options menu (⋮) on a note card in "My Notes" and select "Delete". You can also delete from the edit modal.
Making Notes Public/Private: Click the options menu (⋮) on a note card in "My Notes". Select "Make Public" to share it with the community or "Make Private" to keep it just for you. (Note: Content is checked for community guidelines before being made public).

Viewing: The "Publics" page shows notes that users have chosen to share.
Liking: Click the heart icon (❤️) on any public note card to like it. You must be logged in to like notes. Clicking again will unlike the note.
Guidelines: Shared notes must adhere to our community guidelines (see Terms of Service). Harmful or inappropriate content is not permitted.

Profile: Click your username in the top right, then select "Profile" to view or edit your profile details (like your Verse of the Year).
Logging Out: Click your username in the top right, then select "Log Out".

Can't Log In?: Double-check your username (it's case-insensitive) and password.
Content Not Loading?: Try refreshing the page. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If the issue persists, check back later or contact support.
